We recruit, train, and send African believers, in teams of two, to remote villages in East and Central Africa to show the JESUS Film. This film provides a powerful presentation of the gospel and the life of Christ in the indigenous languages of the African people. In 2010 more than 2.1 million Africans prayed to receive Christ with Here's Life Africa teams.

Here's Life Africa makes certain the new Christians we reach have the opportunity to be discipled. One of our tools is the “Proclaimer,” a solar powered audio device that plays an unabridged, dramatized version of the New Testament in the native languages of the new believers. Here's Life Africa currently hasmore than800 “Proclaimer” listening groups in Central and East Africawith more than20,000 men, women, and children listening to the New Testament each week.

At Here's Life Africa we realize the real key to effective discipleship is training pastors and leaders who can in turn, train and disciple new Christians and those under their care. We hold ten regional pastor’s conferences throughout Central and East Africa each year where we train and resource over 2,000 pastors.

In many villages that we evangelize there is no existing church to send these new believers. In these villages we start Proclaimer listening groups until we identify and train a pastor to take over that group and start a new church. Over the past 14 years Here's Life Africa has started over 3,100 churches.
