Last year these African tribal chiefs were at war with each other. Many villages were burned and lives were lost. Not even the President’s visit or the military’s presence could stop the war. We decided to hold a pastor’s conference and blitz the area of Tarime on the northern border of Tanzania with the Gospel. We sent twenty of our teams to reach 330 villages with the JESUS Film. 176,000 people received the Lord. We started 80 new Proclaimer listening groups and 30 new churches. Our African director called the warring chiefs together and led each of them to the Lord. They each committed to peace and the war stopped! What the military and government could not do the power of the Gospel accomplished!
